The Web Developer provides our client service team with expert HTML/CSS, Javascript, server and database support, by answering questions, troubleshooting and resolving errors with their knowledge of programming languages. 

The Web Developer can improve and optimize the backend and frontend of websites and will work with the Directors to identify and make proactive improvements to client websites, benchmarking site speed performance, identifying issues and implementing solutions that result in client sites running at optimal speeds and performance, positively impacting user experience and rank within Google.

Outcomes of Role:

KPIs: 

  • Successful Sprint Outcomes 80% - rolling 30-day  avg

  • No Open Unassigned Tickets - rolling 30-day avg

  • 100% of clients have performance benchmark - (Timeline TBD)


Responsibilities:

  • Eliminate Search Console errors

  • Optimize website for page load speed, core web vitals, and mobile usability

  • Analyze and research user experience metrics and make recommendations

  • Ensure host is up to date (WP, plugins, php version, etc)

  • Execute ongoing client focused sprints:

    • Performance Sprint

      • Benchmark and set priorities for Speed and Performance

      • Execute Performance Optimizations

    • Build Sprint

      • Landing Page Development

      • CRO/UX Testing

      • Front-end development

      • Migration Support

      • CDN Implementation

      • Special Projects

  • Provide support for Client Service team members, troubleshoot key tracking and reporting issues: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, GA4, Zapier, API Integrations, facebook pixel, etc.... 

  • Identify training opportunities and develop training materials to minimize recurring support requests

  • Responsible for directing outside support resources for implementation

  • Stay up-to-date with programming languages, technologies, frameworks and webdev trends
